Year two Projects.

Experimental Film.

For this task, I had to create an experimental film along with a reflexive blog which would walk through the aspects of the production of the film.
For the film. there were no specific parameters that we had to meet for the task which therefore gave me entire creative control over the film. I knew that I wanted to create an impactful film based on mental health. I then built upon this idea and thought about how I could make it experimental. I then decided to play with time dilation, reversed footage and archival footage. All of which can be seen in my film.
From this process, I was able to learn the invaluable practice of thoroughly planning your work. As I planned to film both shots as one shots/takes which meant that a lot of planning had to be done before I began production. This is something I will take forward with my work.

Met Your Match.

I am credited as the sole Production Designer for this task which involved the procurring of props and costume and set designing various locations. This was an extremely creative role which I think best suits me. I excelled at the  Production Design for this task, which I immensely enjoyed. I had never done any Production Design work prior to this but I found that I would want to pursue this further in the future.

Documentary Treatment.

I was tasked, during this module, to create a documentary treatment for a documentary appropriate for exhibition. I have been interested in making documentaries for as long as I can remember, therefore I thoroughly enjoyed doing this assessment.
I chose a topic that was close to my heart and that I was passionate about which led me to put a lot of effort into this treatment.  I plan on creating this documentary one day.

Short Film.

For this short film, I worked as the Producer, however, I did do work on the design along with some camera work. Of all the work produced thus far, I found this to be the hardest. We had a skeleton crew and due to some people not contributing to the film, only three people ended up making this film. 
The film came out almost exactly as we wanted, a lot of hard work and effort paid off for this short film about a mans psychedelic drug trip.
